New year-new blog entries! Today it’s Betüls turn, who is normally doing our team interviews, to answer some questions about herself. Betül is our youngest team member and is doing various tasks in the fields sales and HR.
We hope you enjoy the interview!
What are you doing besides craftworks?
I am studying nutritional sciences at the University of Vienna, in which I am already in the third semester. So in order to balance my work with my studies, I work as a part-time employee at craftworks.
What does your typical day at craftworks look like?
As I am a part-time employee, I work just two days a week, which is mostly a Wednesday and a Thursday. So if I am working in the office I first make me a coffee and then go to my workplace, check my emails and continue with my tasks from the day before or with new ones.
Could you describe craftworks in 3 words?
professional, trustworthy and gifted
Could you tell us more about your position at craftworks?
I am working as a business administration manager and I am also responsible for some parts of HR. So I have various tasks to do, like helping out Michi with sales or doing stuff for HR.
Apart from work, what do you do with your time off?
In my free time, I like to hang out with my friends. Depending on the weather and the season we do different activities, for example in the summer we like to do a short weekend trip to a lake and in the winter we mostly just hang out at a warm place. Sometimes if we don’t know what to do, we take a walk alongside the Donau.
Can you tell us more about yourself?
Yes. I’m 20 years old and I moved one and a half year ago, after I passed my Matura, from Salzburg to Vienna. Ever since I can remember I wanted to move to Vienna because I really like the city. But the main reason why I moved, is that I wanted to study in a bigger city than Salzburg and another reason is that Salzburg hasn’t a large selection of study courses. Last summer I started working at craftworks for a month and since then I am part of the craftworks-team.
What about craftworks you like the most?
First of all, I like my workmates, they are all very open and friendly, so I could say that this is the most important for me. Furthermore, I like the atmosphere in which I am working and I, of course, like the various tasks I have to do.
